MIDWEST CONSORTIUM FOR LATINO RESEARCH (MCLR)


PREAMBLE


The Midwest Consortium for Latino Research is at the forefront in developing Latino scholarship.

MCLR is a community of scholars which provides an environment for intellectual support and academic leadership through Latino research and scholarship in the Midwest.

The Consortium is dynamically engaged in the advancement of a programmatic research agenda to aid in the identification and publication of resources that validate the importance of Latino research through the organization of institutional support.

This community of scholars and institutions promotes a unique perspective on Latino issues. Scholars who work in conjunction with MCLR are committed to developing research leading to the improvement of Latino communities.
