This totem symbolizes sunset in one of my installation series entitled Meditative Scenery '02. It is composed by the seven totemic figures.

The figures translate into Sun, Earth, Fire, Water, Wood, Wind and Metal. My experience of the ceremonies from the indigenous cultures of West Africa, Australian Aborigines and Taino Indians still moves me. Emphasizing primary elements and personal connections by creating these sculptures and installations of totemic figures have become my ongoing work.
